Agenda Bookshop at the Valletta Waterfront launched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the seventh and last novel in the series, with a party bash on the night of July 20.

The party, on the water’s edge, was heavily attended by young and old who participated in story-telling sessions, face-painting, animation and magical acts, and mingled with characters from the Harry Potter plot and Agenda Bookshop Kids Club’s mascot Mikiel. During the countdown to the book’s release, crowds formed a long queue to snap a copy of the book once it went on sale, unveiling the long-awaited secret ending of the teenage wizard Potter’s and his friends’ fate.
