International Children’s Day was celebrated worldwide on Friday 1st June 2012. To mark the occasion, Agenda Bookshops offered 25% off all children’s books on the day.
The Agenda Kid’s Club also celebrated this important date by throwing a party for its members at Agenda Bookshop, Valletta Waterfront.
Launched in 2006, the Agenda Kids Club currently has over 7,000 members, and aims to make books your children’s good friends; friends who will lead them to all sorts of imaginable or unimaginable adventures that the human imagination can offer. We promote reading amongst children through fun initiatives that make reading enjoyable – and this was clearly achieved at the Kids Club’s party on the 1st of June. An estimated 100 Kids Club members joined in the activities which included a special game show by members of the Zoo team!
