James Jackson, the British bestselling author, visited Malta between 12th and 14th May, courtesy of Miller Distributors Ltd., to promote his latest book Blood Rock based on the 1565 Great Siege of Malta.

Set in a period of unparalleled brutality, and told with drama, sweep and passion, the Blood Rock is fiction on an epic scale, laden with documented historical facts.

Well received on the international scene, the book caught the attention of Frederick Forsyth, blockbuster thriller author and political commentator.  ‘This is history – and terrific history – on every page,’ he says of Blood Rock.

Mr. Jackson has a post-graduate degree in Military Studies and is a consultant in military risk. He is also the author of the acclaimed ‘The Counter-Terrorist Handbook’ – a practical guide on how to cope in a hijack situation and covers the A-Z of likely threat scenarios.

During his visit to Malta, Mr Jackson attended various events including book signings at a number of Agenda outlets, Hotel Phoenicia, Expressions and Chaucer’s.
