The Role
To ensure timely and safe delivery of goods by following established procedures and supporting distribution operations as needed.
The Responsibilities
- Safely deliver all items ordered on due dates
- Follow delivery procedures on a daily basis
- Do distribution runs as per established and approved procedures
- For certain roles the delivery person would need to pack newspapers as per delivery notes
- To substitute any other driver when and as necessary
- To carry out other tasks and assume responsibilities commensurate with the position, as may reasonably be required by the employer.
Key Requirements
- Have a valid driver’s licence.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Be a team player ready to take on a wide variety of tasks.
