We are looking for persons with very good organisational skills to fill in the post of Clerk within the Procurement & Supplier Services unit of the organisation. This is an opportunity for a career-minded individual to join a highly-motivated team.
The Responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO through the P.S.S. Co-Ordinator, the duties and responsibilities will include:
- Posting and sorting of invoices, according to the respective section and date;
- Posting of invoices to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system;
- Processing of supplier payments;
- Reconciliation of supplier statements;
- Filing and archiving documents connected to the accounting function;
- Keeping financial documents and records to meet the company’s requirements and
- Handling queries, complaints, claims and/or other matters
Skills & Requirements
- Have relevant experience;
- Have some knowledge of accounting related software;
- Be able to prioritise multiple tasks;
- Have an eye for detail;
- Be self-motivated and able to work within a fast-paced environment and
- Work well in a team environment
The candidate should also be computer literate, have mathematical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
