A new opportunity has become available, and we are seeking to grow our team of professionals by recruiting a Sales Manager to lead the Wholesale Sales Team.

The Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting the Chief Sales Officer in the development of plans and objectives for the consumer department and their implementation.
  • Establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the different sales areas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Maximising brand presence in line with sales strategy of products.
  • Monitoring stock levels and supplier orders on a periodical basis to ensure adequate and timely supplies.
  • Keeping abreast of new product launches and ensuring sales team members are adequately trained and committed to sell the product.
  • Maintaining healthy and professional working relationships with customers; discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
  • Providing regular performance reports of the field sales team and discuss with the Chief Sales Officer, providing an insight into the data presented and making recommendations.
  • Daily liaison with the respective sales team.
  • Regular liaison with other sales managers, marketing manager and sales administration

Skills & Requirements

  • 5 years experience working in sales
  • Sales and distribution experience, ideally in FMCG products
  • Excellent commercial skills are a must
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Customer relationship management experience is a must
  • Communication, time management and people skills
  • Numerical, analytical and highly organised

Education & Experience

  • Written and verbal skills in both English and Maltese
  • Advanced level standard education or equivalent
