With his unique combination of hilarious stories, zany pictures and riotous rhymes, Dr. Seuss has been delighting young children and helping them learn to read for over fifty years.  To mark the 50th Anniversary of Dr Seuss’ book “The Cat in The Hat”, Agenda Bookshop held a special Read-Aloud session for its Kids Club members at the Valletta Waterfront retail outlet.

Over 50 members participated in the session. With the assistance of the storyteller, Rita A. Borg, the children enjoyed reading and animating the story of “The Cat in the Hat”. Each child was given a bow tie to wear like that of the cat as well as a Cat in the Hat sticker set. Following the read-aloud the members also enjoyed playing games with Mikiel, the popular Agenda Kids Club Mascot.
Dr Seuss, the world’s best-selling children’s book author, has written and illustrated 44 books and “The Cat in the Hat” is the most popular of Seuss’s book characters.
