Once again, Agenda Bookshop has teamed up with the Ministry of Education in an initiative whereby ‘Reading Ambassadors’ are appointed as part of the national literacy strategy. The aim of this initiative is to promote reading and improve perceptions on literacy in schools through local names that children can relate to.
The 2014 ‘Reading Ambassadors’, together with the Education Minister, the Hon. Evarist Bartolo, were welcomed by St Benedict College, Hal Ghaxaq Primary, on Friday 31st January 2014.
