The renowned Remington haircare products will be used by the students throughout the 12th edition of the annual MCAST Hair and Beauty Marathon. These products include Remington hair dryers, straighteners, and curling tongs, which are imported and marketed in Malta by Miller Distributors Limited.

The marathon will take place at the Razzett tal-Hbiberija, Marsascala, between Saturday, 10th February 2007, starting as from 11.00am, and Sunday, 11th February up to 11.00pm. The marathon is being held to raise funds for Razzett tal-Hbiberija. After the marathon, the Remington products will be donated to the MCAST Hair and Beauty Institute in Sliema to be used by the students throughout their hairdressing course.

Around 200 students from the MCAST Hair and Beauty Institute, assisted by professional hairdressers and beauty therapists as well as their lecturers, will be participating in this 36-hour event.  The students will be offering all kinds of services from a simple hair cut to hair colouring.

The marathon is open to the general public and the prices of services are very reasonable.  All funds collected which will go towards the Razzett tal-Hbiberija Disability Programme.
